LIT Reuniting & Reigniting

New in 2008, LIT “Reuniting & Reigniting” is an opportunity for anyone who has completed at least 1 week of the LIT Program to return to CrossRoads for leadership enrichment. This mini-week will offer fellowship with other LITs, in-depth leadership Bible Studies, exciting worship experiences, plenty of recreation, and special activities including PAINT BALL at a nearby course! Download the permission form to participate in Paint Ball here.

LITs will be encouraged to continue practicing their leadership skills by leading devotions, participating in worship, or helping to facilitate other activities. During this “reunion”, current counselors will also share about their experiences being on staff and offer question and answer time for those considering ministering at CrossRoads in the future.

Update! We are excited to announce that Danielle Smith will be joining us for LIT R&R this summer. (Some of you may remember her as the dynamic speaker you heard at the “Weekender” in 2007.) Danielle Smith was born and raised in Knoxville, TN.   Always yearning to be on Broadway, Danielle began pursuing a theater degree at the University of TN but somehow fell into Psychology instead.  After graduating with her Bachelors in Psychology, she felt the calling to full-time ministry and moved to Virginia in order to attend the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond.  While there, she discovered her passion for preaching and teaching the Word of God.  She is currently the two-year Ministerial Resident to Franklin Baptist Church in Franklin, VA.  This residency program, made possible by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, allows seminary students to "get their feet wet" in all areas of church ministry and church life in order to find their niche.  Danielle is thrilled to participate in LIT R&R because it was during her own youth years that she began to truly fall in love with the scriptures.

We are also excited to announce that Debbie Scott, missionary to Mexico City , will be at CrossRoads during LIT R&R.
