Godly sportsmanship and teamwork are emphasized as campers play traditional sports such as basketball or soccer and CrossRoads favorites like dodge ball and “Eagle Ball.”
This track is perfect for energetic campers that would like to experience many different activities during their week of camp. Each morning and afternoon, campers will spend at least one hour learning and playing a different sport. Specific sports to be focused on during the week will be chosen based on the talents and skills of the counselors leading the track. Possibilities include team sports such as basketball, soccer, softball, flag football, kickball, volleyball, Eagle Ball (a unique cross between tennis and baseball), and Capture the Flag or individual sports such as tennis, Frisbee golf, swimming, archery, or golf.
Sports campers will also get to participate in traditional camp recreation activities such as hiking, climbing, and the Challenge Course.
On most High Adventure weeks, sports campers will be divided into two tracks based on age (usually 4-6 graders and 7-12 graders). Campers should bring tennis shoes and a water bottle. No other equipment or previous experience is necessary.
